I have been working within the field of Holistic Therapies since 2006 practicing as a clinical Psychotherapist within schools, voluntary sector agencies, under contract to NHS within the IAPT (Access to Therapies Programme).

At Pure Health I maintain a private Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Clinical Supervision and Mindfulness meditation & Relaxation groups.

I am a qualified Hypnotherapist, Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor, Trainer, and have previously taught within academic environments as a Lecturer and Course Leader
I continue to provide training to groups delivering courses and workshops including Diversity, Safe Guarding, Ethics, Research and Theory linked to Practice.

I continue to engage with voluntary sector services including women's centres, sexual assault crisis centres supporting male and female survivors of rape and sexual assault; working with individuals presenting many issues including stress, anxiety, bereavement and low self worth.

Prior to this I worked in London with children & families, developing services and support to provide accessible services to disabled children and their families.

As well as managing my own private practice I am currently engaged within a Qualified Provider (AQP) counselling service for the NHS under the Improving access to psychological therapies (IAPT) banner.

I am Accredited Member of National Counselling Society (NCS)

I am a Registered Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), and adhere to its Codes of Ethics and Practice. The register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists is a scheme set up by the Department of Health and is administered by an independent body, accountable to parliament. The scheme means that for the first time, members of the public can choose a counsellor or psychotherapist belonging to a register approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

I hold membership and registration with General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC )and General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) as both a Hypnotherapist and a Supervisor

I engage in monthly professional clinical supervision, as in line with BACP, NCS and GHSC guidelines and recommendations. I maintain my professional status by engaging in regular training, personal development meetings and peer development groups.

I hold a current enhanced DBS certificate which now replaces the CRB certificate this is renewed annually.

I am a member of Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council.

I am fully insured.

What I Can Offer

I currently offer Clinical Supervision to other Counsellors, Counsellors-in-training, groups and those in other helping professions. I offer supportive and warm nurturing environment where exploration, reflection and creative methods of engaging in therapeutic work with others can be developed.

Supervision is provided within 1-1 settings or group supervision either face to face, telephone or via Zoom

A free initial consultation around your needs and what I can offer in the introduction to our supervisory journey and can be made face to face, Zoom or by telephone. This gives us both an opportunity to consider if we are a good fit and we can move forward from there
